GOLF.
PLAY AT HOKOWHITU. Playing in a bogey competition at Hokowhitu during the week-end, A. C. Anderson won with a splendid card of six up. His golf was of a high standard throughout. For 17 holes he played 70 strokes, as against 68 for the scratch score. F. Murray finished in second place with a good round which gave him a card of 2-up. J. F. Field was the only other senior player to beat bogey. The leading cards were as follow: A grade. —A. C. Anderson, 6 up; F. Murray, 2 up; J. F. Field. 1 up; E R. Chapman, , A. J. M. Goodwin, 1 down. B grade.—J. Wholev, 1 up; F. G. Jolly, G. Lusk, 2 down; A. Gill, 4 down.
