PURCHASES FOR PRINCESSES. LONDON, Feb. 23. The King and the Duke of Kent played ' shove ha’penny while touring the British Industries Fair. The King listened to nil explanation of tlie new game of bridge, with five packs of cards, of which the Queen order specimens, as well as a dozen texts for the Buckingham Palace nursery and models of “The Three Bears.” The King, seeing woolly animals on a stand, remarked to the Queen: “Thank goodness the children are not here; wo would never get them away.”
