RUSSIAN FLIER.
DID NOT REACH ALASKA. NEW YORK, March 5. “After an air search covering 3000 miles on courses under TO miles apart, I am convinced that M. Levanesky, the missing Russian flier, could not have reached the Alaskan coast.” says Sir Hubert Wilkins from Alavilc (Alaska) in a message copyrighted bv the North American Newspaper Alliance. “Had he crashed in the mountains. I think we would have seen the wreck, and had he landed on the Arctic tundra some of the crew probably would have been able to walk to establish some means of communication.”
