FRENCH AIRMAN’S LEAP. Received March's, 12,20 p.m. PARIS, March 4. An airman jumped from a ’plane at a height of 27,550 ft and delayed opening his parachute until within 1046 ft of the ground. The; intervening 26,504 feet of space was covered in 2min 20scc —claimed to 1 he a world record.
