TENNIS GIRLS.
SUCCESSES IN SYDNEY. Received March 4, 8.5 a.m. SYDNEY, March 3. The junior tennis championships resulted as follows: Girl’s doubles (under 21).—The New Zealander, Miss Cooke, and Miss Taylor beat Misses A. and T. Harley, 4—6, 6—2, 6—2. Mixed doubles (under 21). —W. Sidwell and the New Zealander Miss Cooke beat J. Gilchrist and Miss Kelso, 6 2, 6 3; F. Bennett and the New Zealander Miss Beverley beat G. Moss and the New Zealander Miss Wilson, 6—2, 6—3. The New Zealand girls are resting to-morrow.
