LONDON, Feb. 18. Italian newspapers characterise the British disclosures of the German Army’s discontent as a campaign of
terrorism and lies against Germany. They declare that Italy and Germany are the joint victims of British Press activities. Senor Gavda. Fascist spokesman, writps in the Giornale d’ltalia tiiao Britain and France invented the German conflict in order to isolate Germany and secure approval for war ex-
penditure and the friendship of Russia. The Tribuna publishes a cartoon showing an ink-bottle containing a Jew and a Freemason, with the words, “Ink used by the tendentious British and French.”
