BOMBING IN SPAIN.
REBELS UNWILLING. Received March 1, 12.20 p.m. LONDON, Eeb. 28. The Prime Minister (Mr Chamberlain), in making a statement in the House of Commons in reference to the appeal to the Spanish combatants to cease the bombing of civilians, said that the Spanish Government vyas willing, but General Franco had replied that he must reserve freedom of action to strike military objectives wherever they were found.
