RESIGNATION OF TEACHER.

’TERRACE END SCHOOL. Mr D. C. Pryor tendered his resignation from the position of first assistant at the Terrace End School to the meeting of the committee which was held last evening. He has received an appointment to the headmastership of the Martinborough District High School. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my eight years on the staff of the school and have appreciated the splendid working spirit between the teachers and the committeemen, and wish to extend my very sincere thanks for the many courtesies rendered mo during that time,” stated Mr Pryor in his resignation. Regret at the loss of a teacher who had done much for the school was expressed, and it was resolved that a letter he sent to Air Pryor thanking him for his past services and expressing the best wishes of the committee for his future career.
