BOY KIDNAPPED.

ANOTHER AMERICAN CASE. NEW YORK, March 1. G-men have confirmed that Philip Levine, 12-year-old son of a wealthy attorney, lias been kidnapped. The bov has been missing since February 24' In response to the father's request, neither the local nor Federal authorities are participating in the case in order to permit an attempt to pay a ransom reported to be 60,000 dollars to obtain the boy's release. ■Mr Levine, through the Press and the radio, pleaded with the kidnappers not to harm his son. He said the ransom was ready and named an intermediary. He urged'the kidnappears to get into touch with him immediately. This is, the United State's fifth major kidnapping in which the victims were children. The others were the Lindbergh, Robles, Weyerhaeuser and Mattson cases.
