HEAVY PROGRAMME.
ELECTRICITY BILL DELAYED. (British Official Wireless.) Received March 2, 10.45 a.m. RUGBY, March 1. The Prime Minister (Mr Chamberlain) announced in the House of Commons to-day that, owing to the heavy programme of legislation, he saw no prospect of being able to proceed with the Electricity Supply Bill this session, but he hoped it would be possible to take the Bill early next session.
