The Eire Brigade was called just alter midnight, and oil their arrival the Humes laid a very strong Imld throughout the building and on used damage ol such an extent that it is considered that the structure is a comoletc loss. Ihe building is insured for EoOO. The house had live rooms, lour o which, built of I mart of totara, had been removed from another site ten years ago, when another room was added Mr and Mrs Collins had one child at home with them. hey escaped unhurt hot nearly all their possessions were burned and they will he losers to a considerable extent.
