A series of rather shallow depressions continues to cross the Tasman Sea and the Dominion, but there has been a slight rise of pressure over south-eastern Australia. 'Conditions are disturbed in the Fiji and Tonga Island groups. Forecast: Strong north-west to westerly winds, reaching gale force at places.
