WHAKARONGO.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) WHAKARONGO. Feb. 25. There was a full attendance at the school committee meeting this week. It was held chiefly in order to compile the balancesheet for tho year ending February 2. 1938, as the school committee elections will probably take place ire April. - It was reported that tho dental clinic fees for the coming year are now due, and several repair jobs are to bo done at tho school. A decision was reached 1o procure supplies to replenish the first-aid outfit, also a further supply of tools for woodwork. There are a number of- new pupils this year, the roll being 49. In view of the coming garden party a “working bee” was arranged to cut the grass and tidy the grounds.
