COMPLETE UNDERSTANDING
- AUSTRIA AND ITALY. Received February 26, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 25. A full report of Dr Schuschnigg’s speech shows that he denied rumours of a change in Italo-Austrian relations. Signor Mussolini had always shown complete understanding and sympathy with Austria and had always meticulously refrained from any interference with Austrian domestic affairs. AUSTRIANS MARCH. THROUGH VIENNA STREETS. VIENNA, Feb. 25. After his speech on Austria’s policy at Parliament House yesterday, Dr Schusclinigg marched through the streets at the head of a procession of 50,000. Isolated groups of Nazis unsuccessfully tried to impede the procession.
