Obviously to frustrate Chinese air raids on Japan, Japanese ’planes today bombed the coastal aerodromes at Chuchow, Fuchow, Changchow and Amoy. The Japanese are attacking Lingshihsien, 70 miles south-west of Taiyuan, as part of the campaign in Shansi for the round-up of Chinese Communist guerilla fighters. The Japanese claim to have captured all the keypoints in the Yellow River in North Honan.
