KELVIN GROVE.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) KELVIN GROVE. Feb. 25. There was a very good attendance at tho opening euchre and dance gathering of the season on Tuesday evening. Those winning prizes were: Miss A. Rolander, ladies’ first, and Mrs N. Lauranco second; Mr M. J. Ryan, men’s first, and Messrs F. G. Parker and J. Radomski, second (equal). After supper, dancing was held. Last evening a most interesting lecture on the moa bird, coal, greenstone, and gold, was given in the Kelvin Grove School by Mr H. Foston. He also showed many interesting slides to illustrate his subjects.
