LAST TRIBUTES.
LATE MAYOR OF TIMARU. Per Press Association. TIMARU, Feb. 25. AA r ith many beautiful floral tributes and followed by an exceptionally large body of mourners, the funeral cortege of the. late Mayor of Timaru, Mr P. C. Vinnell, this afternoon moved through the streets of the town which lie served so well. The funeral, which was an expression of the universal respect in which Mr Vinnell was held by all sections of the community, was one of the largest Timaru has seen.
