At the Takapau Caledonian sports on Wednesday Miss June Scott secured, in the open section, first awards in the Highland fling and seantriubhas, and second in the Irish jig, and in the 14 years .and over class, first in the Highland fling and seantruibhas. Her pupils gained the following awards: 14 years and under 18 years, D. McLean first in the Irish jig. second in the Highland fling and seantruibhas, J. Lynch third in the Highland reel ■ 14 years and over, D. McLean second in the Highland fling and seantriubhas; under 14 years, J. Lynch second in the sword dance and third in the Highland fling.
