A Bennett Button match was played at the Takaro Club greens on Monday. Mesdames Russell and Christie (holders) lost to Mesdames Slurphy and Turner, 9 —26. A Brighton Slallett match was played at the Manawatu Club’s greens on Tuesday. Slesdames Houghton and Christmas (holders) lost to Slesdames Murphy and SlcLeod, 18—26. A Pollock Star match was played at the Northern Club’s greens on Tuesday. Mesdames Wood and Simpson beat Slesdames Torstonson and Davidson, 26—12.
