SHEEPSKIN MARKET.
DUNEDIN PRICES LOWER. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Feb. 22. The usual bench of buyers was present at the sheepskin sale to-day, but the market for all grades was Jd to Id per lb. lower than at tho previous sale held on January 25. This casing is attributable to the lower values I‘uling for wool, and is in sympathy with recent northern sales for both wool and skins. Following is the range of prices:—llalfbred, full-wool to 9jd, three-quarter-wool 7|d to 83d, halfwool 6!d; fine crossbreds, full-wool to B|d, three-quarter-wool 7d to Bd, half-wool 6d to 7d, quarter-wool 5d to 6d; crossbreds, full-wool to Bd, three-quarler-wool 64d to 7d, half-wool to 64d, quarter-wool 5d to 53d; hoggets, halfbred to Bd, fine crossbred to 7jd, medium crossbred to 7id, crossbred to 7^d; dead, halfbred 7|cl to Bd, fino crossbred 63d to 74d, crossbred 64J to 64d; lambs, halfbred to 73d, fine crossbred to 74d, crossbred to 7jd; first pelts, to 43d.
