PALMERSTON NORTH SUCCESSES ROTORUA PAIRS TOURNEY. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) ROTORUA, Feb. 22. Glorious weather, after overnight showers, prevailed for the continuation of the Rotorua pairs tourney. The Palmerston North pair, Boon and Nash, had three wills, beating Williamson (Waitemata), 30 —10; Forsyth (Woburn), 27 —10, and Morrison (Poverty Bay), 25—16. They registered a comfortable victory in each match, though the game against Poverty Bay was tighter than the score might indicate. Palmerston North, however, were always oq top. All the teams in their section have suffered one or more losses.
