GERMAN SENTENCE AWAITED. Received Februarv 23. 8 5 am Dr. JNiemoller's trial is expected to nnisu at the week-end when the Press and the public will be admitted to near the sentence. Church circles expect that he will be sentenced to not more than seevn months, probably meaning his immediate release as he has been held in custody tor that period while awaiting trial, but that he will not be allowed to resume preaching. A i DI A Martin Niemoller is leader of the Confessionahst Movement against the Nazification of the Evangelical Church.
