Misa H. Connie, of Palmerston North, is visiting Wanganui. Mr and Mrs J. G. Hercoek, of Palmerston North, are visiting Wellington.
Mr and Mrs H. B. Free, of Church Street, Palmerston North, returned from their holiday last evening.
After spending a holiday in Auckland, Miss H. Fletcher, of Palmerston North, has returned home.
Mrs V. H. Kitcat. of Marton, left from Auckland yesterday for Honolulu to visit friends and her two sisters, Mrs It. F. Lange and Miss Danford, both of whom have' many friends in New Zealand.
Mcsdames Wood, Tapp and M. J. Lee, of the Northern Croquet Club, left Palmerston North to-day to take part in the Hawke’s Bay croquet tournament, which commences tomorrow.
Owing to the many gifts of jam which have been made to the All Saints’ Children’s Home a large number of jars have accumulated. Anyone desiring to collect jars may arrange to do so by telephoning the matron (’phone 6393). After a sale there are always odd lines to be cleared.
