NURSING STAFF CHANGES.

In her report to the monthly meeting of the Palmerston North Hospital Board on Monday, the matron (Miss L. M. Banks) stated that the following nurses had completed their fourth year of training and she recommended that they be appointed staff nurses: Nurses Stella Smith, Delcie Smith, Patterson, Te Punga, Brandt, and Dawson. The recommendation was adopted. “The following nurses have tendered their resignations,” stated the matron. “Staff-Nurse Crozier was appointed a staff nurse for a period of six months and her appointment terminated on December 27 last. Staff-Nurse Donald has tendered her resignation as from March 7, and Staff-Nurse Inez Brown as from March 15. Nurse Marion Miles, who had previously been granted three months’ leave of absence on account of her mother’s illness, resigned as from the end of January, her mother still requiring nursing care.”
