A resident of Victoria Avenue brought to the “Standard” office today an applo of peculiar shape. Actually at one stage of the growth there had been two apples, but these have grown together in such a way as to make the specimen an outstanding freak. The Palmerston North Fire Brigade has received donations from Messrs Ramsay and Campbell and Mr W. Pegden in appreciation of services rendered at recent fires.
