CANADA’S DEFENCES.
ESTIMATES DECREASE. OTTAWA, Feb. 4. The defence estimates total 34 000.000 dol'ars, a decrease of 2,500,000 dollars from last year. Two destroyers, costing 2 000,000 dollars will be purchased ffom Britain and stationed on the Pacific Coast next summer. Seventy-five aeroplanes will also be purchased.
