FROM DRIFTING SCIENTISTSCONDITIONS IMPROVE. Received February 5, 11.20 a.m. MOSCOAV, Feb. 4. Reassuring messages from the Polar, scientists who are drifting on the iccfloe have been picked up. They read: “All well; situation improved.” It is understood the storm is subsiding and the temperature dropping, thus increasing the chance of icefloes freezing together.
