The weather for the opening of the Empire Games is cool and cloudy. The forecast is for some thunder and showers and possibly- hail. Discussing the New Zealanders’ prospects at tlie Games, the manager (Mr McCormick) said that the team on the whole is well. “We are looking forward to obtaining a moderate amount of success and also of gaining valuable experience,” he said.
