SOLE BROS.’ CIRCUS.
Never in the whole of the 35 years of its existence has the standard of Sole Bros.’ Circus, which will be at Palmerston North on December 24 27 and 28, been higher than it is to-day. Coming to Palmerston North from a record-breaking season in the South Island, the circus is assured of a warm reception.
It includes many notable acts, including the performance of Captain Andrews with lions and tigers in a huge steel-protected arena, one of the most outstanding acts of its kind ever brought before the public. La Belle Marie ; a swinging- and balancing trapeze artist, is another attraction, and there are/many more no less spectacular. Performances by elephants, ponies and other animals, which show evidence of years of careful training, are also included-in the generous programme.
