“OCTOBER REVOLUTION.” BAN TO BE REVIEWED. CANBERRA, Dec. 7. The Federal Attorney-General’s Department was being asked to review the banning of Stalin’s book, “October Revolution,” the Minister for Repatriation (Senator Foil) stated in the Senate to-day on behalf of the Minister for Trade and Customs. Senator Foil was replying to a question asked by Senator Brown. Senator Foil said that “October Revolution” had been placed on the prohibited list of publications in 1934 because it was considered to be a prohibited import within the meaning of the Customs (prohibited imports) regulations.
