SHIPPING ISSUE.
(Times Cables.) Received December 14, 12.40 p.m. LONDON, Deo. 13. The Times says that a final settlement of the Pacific shipping issue has proved more elusive than ever. The latest hitch is formidable, but despite the difficulties every possible effort will he made to continue to provide a British service and financial assistance comparable with American.
