SOUTHLAND SHOW.
Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Dec. 14. The Southland Metropolitan A. and P. Association’s Summer Show was opened to-day in hot sunny weather. Late in the afternoon a thunderstorm broke, and since then a fair amount of rain, which is badly needed, has fallen. The number of entries is slightly bigger than last year and the quality of the sheep and cattle is again of a very high standard.
