BOWLING.
BRITISH VISITORS. The latest information received by Mr J. A. Nash, president of the Manawatu Bowling Centre, with reference to the visit of the British bowlers is to the effect that only four rinks will bo coming to Palmerston North for the match on January 10. There will, however, bo some ladies in the party who play bowls, and arrangements have been made with ladies of the Feilding Club to engage the visitors in play on the same green an the men’s match is to be held. All the games will take place in the morning, as it has been pointed out that it is imperative that the visitors leave Palmerston North immediately after lunch. On Wednesday next, December 22, the visitors will be passing through Palmerston North on their w.ay to Hastings, and members of local clubs are asked to meet them at the station at noon. ~ VISIT TO RANGITIKEI, Op Saturday a rjnly from each of the Palmerston North clubs and an official centre rink will visit Martop to play a game against Mafton and Bulls clubs-
