ONE WING TORN. (British Official Wireless.) Received December 10, 12.52 p.m. RUGBY, Dec. 9. A hailstorm, accompanied by lightning, forced down the Imperial Airways liner Horatius on the flight from Paris to Croydon. The liner at Lympne, where an inspection revealed that a flash had burned a 2ft rent in one wing. The passengers, who included Miss Ellen Wilkinson, M.P., who has been visiting Spain, continued their journey to London by train.
