JUDGMENT RESERVED

COMPANY’S CLAIM. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Dee. 7. Judgment was reserved by Mr Justice Northcroft in the Supremo Court to-day on the claim of £3OOO by Honing Road Surfaces, Ltd., Edinburgh, against Archibald Donald Paterson,

Christchurch, civil engineer, and on the counter-claim by Paterson for £Bl2 10s. The action is based on the company’s allegation that Paterson, who went to England in 1934 to exploit his own method of road paving, committed a breach of contract with the company by reurning permanently to New Zealand before completing a two years’ engagement with the company. This, it is alleged, spoiled the company’s prospects. Paterson’s counterclaim is for money he declares is owed him by the company.
