CASE METALS MARKET. FURTHER ADVANCE IN PRICES. LONDON, Dee. 6. The official London (middle) quotations as reported by the Australian Mines and Metals Association compare with those previously cabled as follow:
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Dec. 7. • A sharp fall of one penny in the spot price of silver to 18 7-16 d. per ounce was recorded at the “fixing” to-day. The fall is being attributed to uncertainty regarding the future price of the metal following market reports regarding a possible termination of the sales agreement. The forward quotation is 18 3-16 d. per ounce.
