WAITUNA WEST.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) WAITUNA WEST, Dec. 7. On Friday, night a well-attended dance was held in the Waituiia West Hall, to make a presentation and gift evening to Miss Doris Bishop and Mr Lawrence, who are to be married. Mr J. Old handed Miss Bishop a large number of ' useful gifts, and wished Miss Bishop happiness and prosperity, Mr Lawrence returned thanks. Misses June and Boggy Kitchener, of Kopane, entertainod with tap-danc-ing, which was much enjoyed. A spot waltz was won by the guests of the evening.
