ENGAGEMENT RUMOUR. LONDON, Deo. 6. Most English newspapers give prominence to a suggestion that Prince Charles of Belguim, brother of King Leopold, will announce his engagement to Lady Ann Cavendish Bentinck. “FANTASTIC RUMOURS. ’ ’ KING LEOPOLD’S VISIT. BRUSSELS, Dec. 6. King Leopold’s secretary has issued an official statement which says: “Absolutely fantastic rumours are being circulated once again on the occasion of the King’s visit to England. None has any foundation for any members of the Royal Family.”
