INTER-CLUB MATCHES. On Saturday afternoon friendly visits wore exchanged by the Palmerston . North and Takaro Bowling Clubs. On the aggregate, Palmerston North won by 141 points to 112, although both clubs won three games. VETERANS’ VASE. A rink from the Terrace End Bowling Club visited the Northern Club, the holders of the trophy, and siicceeded in gaining possession of the Veterans’ Vase after a good game. The Terrace End skip was in good form. The teams were: Terrace End: Knowles, Kells, Ashton, J. Wallace (skip) 24 v. Northern : Johnston, Palmer, Stiles, Eliott (skip) 13.
