PAHIATUA.
PAHIATUA, Dec. 4. The following Pahiatua students passed the examinations under, the Pharmacy Act: Intermediate section, Air H. It. Pickering; ’qualifying section, Air G. C. Harford. Air A. P. Jensen presided over a meeting of the committee of the Pahiatua Boxing Association when the New Zealand Boxing Association advised, in regard to the Harold Reeve-Jacobs fight, that Reeve had been disqualified for six months and ordered to forfeit his share of the purse on the grounds of repeated foul tgctics in the contest. . Mr J. G. Carbines, secretary of the Bush Co-operative Herd Testing Association, reports, in his summary of group 30 day averages for all cows tested dining November that in the Pahiatua district 747 cows wore tested, supplying 950 gallons of milk. The test was 4.5 and the fat 431 b. The association’s average for the 4061 cows tested during November was 9491 b milk, 4.6 tost, and 431 b fat, compared with 411 b fat. for the corresponding period of last season.
