(From Our Own Correspondent.) , I TANGIMOANA, Dec. 2. A tender for'the 'laying down s of tWo concrete tennis courts was accepted ,at a meeting of . the ~ Tangimoana- Ladies ' Progressive Club last night. The work is.do commence at once so that players will have the full season’s Use of the - courts; the location is immediately opposite the hall. :■ The deepest . r egret. - is felt at Tangimoana in the- passing of the late Captain G. W. Braddell. Ever since the captain took charge of the forestry "work atTangimoana ho was looked upon as a true friend of the .people, an'd' he ,was always ready to assist'any good work'. , The widest sympathy is felt for his widow and family. • : .
