HOROWHENUA
(From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, Nov. 26. Mr and Mrs K. Howell,' who have been on holiday in the north, have returned to Otaki. The remains of the Otaki Dairy Company’s factory at lire Otaki railway were disposed of by aunction sale on Wednesday. ' Representatives of the Wellington Education Board paid a visit to the Otaki State School grounds; as a result it i 3 hoped that further improvements will be effected. Work at the factory at the Otaki railway is progressing rapidly. It will, however, be some time before the building is complete, but it will be one of the most up-to-date in the Dominion. There was a splendid attendance at the ball held by the Otaki Volunteer Fire Brigade. The arrangements were in the hands of the committee, with Mr M. Larsen as secretary. Mr Bills was the M.C.
