YESTERDAY’S BUSINESS AND PRICES. A weak ton© persisted in the Wellington Stock and share markets yesterday and general issues sold at lower levels, notably Australian metals companies. Broken Hill Proprietary were marked down to 58s 6d, sellers asking Is higher, this being the lowest figure for more than a year. Electrolytic Zinc also receded, tho preference being quoted a.t 47s 6d, sellers a penny higher, while the ordinaries were offering at 46,5. Mount Lyell fell away on sales from 33s lOd to 32s 6d, buyers staying in at 31s 6d, against 32s' 3d asked. G. J. Coles again fell away, business being done at 45s 9d, and .sellers offering at 44s 9d.
