CATHOLIC INTER-CLUB MATCH. Tlie first of a series of inter-club matches conducted .by the Catholic Lawn Tennis Association, comprising the Palmerston North, Levin, Wangar nui and Feilding Clubs, was held yesterday, when St. Brigid’s (Feilding) played against St. Mary’s A (Wanganui) at Eeilding. The home team won by 14 sets to 10 and 126 games to 108. Details are as follow, St. Mary’s players mentioned first: Men’s singles.—J. Gordon beat D. Julian, 8—6;8—6; W.
