The South Island poultry conference has decided to ask the Government to amend the Poultry Keepers’ Registration Act to allow the Poultry Board to grant trophies and funds tor the encouragement of utility breeds at South Island shows. Delegates were of opinion that the board should have the power to grant sums annually to foster the breeding of good stock.
