TENNIS MATCH AVON. The annual tennis fixture between the Dannevirke High School and the Palmerston North Girls’ High School was contested on Saturday and resulted in a win for Palmerston North by nine sets to three and 101 games to 66. The free style of driving to the base and sidelines was a pleasing feature of the match. Detailed results are as follow, Palmerston North players being mentioned first: Singles.—Mary Aikman beat G.
