The Japanese Minister of Trade, Vice-Admiral Godo, has arrived at Berlin. In an interview he explained that the purpose of his visit was to confirm the friendly relations existing between Germany and Japan, “in practical fashion.” The Minister added that Germany, in the AVest, and Japan, in the East, would stand together as two strong factors in the preservation of world peace and the furtherance of civilisation.”
