THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN DEAD. I

The Chinese Ambassador reports that seven hundred babies are being horn daily among the refugees m Shanghai. He adds that over 90,000 children are wandering homeless and parentless in Shanghai and near the cities, and that 11,000 children have been killed as a direct consequence of the war.
