MAORI KILLED.
INVOLVED IN MOTOR COLLISION DANNEVIRKE, Nov. 7./ Injuries, from which he later died in the Dannevirke Public Hospital, were received by a Maori, George Manihera, aged 28,. dairy-farmer, Dannevirke, when a car in which he was a passenger collided with another vehicle at 5 o’clock this morning on the coast road about six miles from Pongaroa. t Following the collision the car, which was driven by Mr Leslie Anderson, ran over a bank and dropped about 42 feet. There were four occupants, hut the others escaped with minor injuries. The other car was driven by Mr Alexander Malcolm.
