MARTON, Oct. 19. In the passing of Mr Emanuel Pickford another link with early Rangitikei has been severed. Mr Pickford, who w'Vs born at Frome, Somerset, on August 22, 1862, and came to New Zealand in the lonic in November 1884 first worked for Mr F. Fourteen years ago Mr Pickford retired from active farming and to Marton, where he resided until nu death. .
